Dear Mr. James,

I had bought the new Samsung camera in your Envigado Store last Friday May 2, 2014. And, this product is defective, but the worst is not that. I was in the store yesterday giving the product change, but the service was horrible. This is the why I am writing you. I need express my feelings about the situation and the bad services in your store.

The seller called Juana Sofia Gonzales did not want to change the camera, because she believes I was broke it in an accident, but when I was open the camera box, the camera was bad. She was so crude and disrespectful.

I request you to change me the product and to take measures with this seller. I don`t think it is the image that you want to show to the public. The prices in your store it is expensive and we have been paying for an excellent services and quality products, and I did not receive anything of that.

I wait your answer.

Yours sincerely,

Through this letter I show you my unconformity with your support service.  I have been trying to communicate with you since three months ago. I have have a big problem with a system that I bought you. This system was installed in a client building but right now the access control (your system) does not work.

My client is very worried with that because it is not a console or something without importance. We are talking about system security and I have not received indications for solved my trouble.

I've not make that system enroll new cards. When I've tried it the system works strange. I mean,  doors don't open every time. The door open sometimes and other times don't do it. My client needs to enroll two thousand new cards. It is the reason for my fear. I'm on the verge of losing it.

When I bought the system I also get a support contract. However the contract has been violated. The contract has been violated. The contract indicates that I would receive support between four days but I have not solved anything.

For this reason I will start a legal process where you do your work and meet agreed in the contract.

I hope that this decision do not be necessary and I can overcome this issue.

Yours sincerely.

SIGMUND FREUD AND THE PSYCHOANALYSIS by Juan David González Soto

Sigmund Freud LIFE.jpgSIGMUND FREUD AND THE PSYCHOANALYSIS

Since I started with the wish to learning other language, I always wanted to speak about a great writer who gave his life for show us the psychological process and the repercussion in the Body and everyday life. Sigmund Freud was a neurologist who was interested for a singular sickness, the hysteria. The Medical people kept their mind on that the sick women had acted and invented their sickness. Freud together with the Dr. Breuer developed a technic that allowed to understand the reasons and causes about the hysteria and others sickness.
Their technic was to listen the patient and try to understand the history. They started to comprehend the history about everyone and the relationship with the sickness. They found that when sick people remembered small details in the history about their life and the sickness they could be relive their mind and their body.
When they had a patient they used to use the “free association” that was say everything without resistance or ban. With this technic, Freud found something that divides the history, the unconscious. When we are children we enter to speech of other. For this we need to keep down some events and impulses about children life. Freud developed a consistent theory about psychological structure and clinic structure.
We are neurotics, this is a psychological structure and the principal reason of our sickness is the relationship with another one. There are other structures: the psychosis and perversion. The psychoanalysis only works with the neurosis because with the other structures the psychoanalysis can give certain freedom that is dangerous for civilization and the human being, for example the wish of kill.
Freud showed us the importance of keep down some impulses. This restrain is the base of our civilization, the rules and the communal living. Freud did not only develop a social theory. He understood that if you know about the particular thing you can know about the universal thing.
However, his theory could help some people and particular sickness but was his discovery about the unconscious which was a big revolution that impacted the ideals of capitalist system. For that reason that theory is a big point of discussion now and some people say that it doesn't work.
Since I knew about Freud and his theory, I have felt interest. I began to read a lot about him, I left to believe in god, I started therapy and it changed my life and the relationship with the world. I've been taking decisions that has carried me beyond.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta a peace woman. By Jennifer Herrera Correa

I really admire the people who do their things with love and passion, this one of the why I admire to Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu better known like the Mother Teresa of Calcutta. She was born in Skopje, Macedonia, on August 26, 1910. Her family was of Albanian descent. At the age of twelve, she felt strongly the call of God. She knew she had to be a missionary to spread the love of Christ. At the age of eighteen she left her parental home in Skopje and joined the Sisters of Loreto, an Irish community of nuns with missions in India. After a few months training in Dublin she was sent to India, where on May 24, 1931, she took her initial vows as a nun. From 1931 to 1948 Mother Teresa taught at St. Mary's High School in Calcutta, but the suffering and poverty she glimpsed outside the convent walls made such a deep impression on her that in 1948 she received permission from her superiors to leave the convent school and devote herself to working among the poorest of the poor in the slums of Calcutta. Although she had no funds, she depended on Divine Providence, and started an open air school for slum children. Soon she was joined by voluntary helpers, and financial support was also forthcoming. This made it possible for her to extend the scope of her work.

On October 7 of 1950, Mother Teresa received permission from the Holy See to start her own order, "The Missionaries of Charity", whose primary task was to love and care for those people nobody was prepared to look after. In 1965 the Society became an International Religious Family by a decree of Pope Paul VI.

Mother Teresa died in 1997 and she was renowned blessed in 2003. Her work had been recognized and acclaimed throughout the world and she received a lot of awards and distinctions, including the Pope John XXIII Peace Prize in 1971 and the Nehru Prize for her promotion of international peace and understanding in 1972. She also received the Balzan Prize in 1979 and the Templeton and Magsaysay awards.

LETTER TO SONY MOBILE ENTERPRISE BY DANIEL MAURICIO MEJIA CALLE

Mr Steven Montoya
Sony Mobile Industries
PO Box 87945

15 May

Dear Mr Montoya,

Following our video conference by Skype yesterday, I am writing to complain about the “Sony Xperia P” which I bought from your store located in “El Tesoro Parque Comercial” three months ago.

I am disappointed with the mobile phone and the service of that specific store. Firstly, when I arrived to the store, nobody helped me to look for the product that I needed. Secondly, when I opened the package, I discovered that the earphones and the screen protector were missing.
Nowadays, the mobile is having some problems. When I am playing games, the advice blocks itself. The text messages are very short, only have 120 letters to write and I don’t know if I am deaf but the phone speaker sounds very low.

Finally, I have discovered that the mobile phone have has some dents on the case. I have been calling to the guarantee for two week but nobody answer me.

I am of the opinion that the “Sony Xperia” is the worst mobile phone ever created for your enterprise. I am very frustrated because Sony always had been my favorite brand for technological purchases. But now, I am thinking on try the advices of other companies.
Yours sincerely,

Knowledge Test

5 May

Dear Mr Cifuentes,

As I have not reached you by telephone, I am writing to complain about the “Knowledge Test” which I presented to you last month in Medellin. The test assesses the knowledge of a person in a specific major and I was evaluated in biomedical engineering.

I am unsatisfied with the test because I think that this test should not be paid for by the student, however I had to pay. Also, it’s not known what this money is allocated for. Apart from this on Sunday is the only day one can take this test. This test cannot be taken another day and Sunday is usually my rest day.

I thought this test assessed the knowledge acquired through the major during the ten semesters, but it did not. The test is very widespread. In the morning I took similar topics of other major and in the afternoon I took specific tests of my major. The specific tests had not relation with my major and although I studied I never could answer the questions.

Finally I think that this test is too long. I wasted about 8 hours taking it. Finishing the test all people felt mental exhaustion, which did not allowed us to read and answer the last questions clearly.

In my opinion I think this test should be reevaluated by qualified staff so that each test is classified in a specific major and there are not more drawbacks. Also, tests should be offered in flexible schedule or in different days. So that the test does not waste many hours and no one should pay for it.

Yours sincerely

                                                         PAULO COELHO'S BIOGRAPHY

Paulo Coelho was born on August 24, 1947, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was a rebellious teenager and his parents committed him to an asylum three times. When Coelho was 38 years old, he had a spiritual awakening in Spain and wrote about it in his first book, The Pilgrimage. It was his second book, The Alchemist, his most famous novel, has been translated into 80 languages. The author has sold 150 million copies worldwide. He has become one of the most widely read authors in the world today. He is the recipient of numerous international awards, amongst them the Crystal Award by the World Economic Forum.

Coelho attended Jesuit schools and was raised by devout Catholic parents. He determined early on that he wanted to be a writer but was discouraged by his parents, who saw no future in that profession in Brazil. Coelho's rebellious adolescence spurred his parents to commit him to a mental asylum three times, starting when he was 17. "I have forgiven," Coelho said. "It happens with love, all the time - when you have this love towards someone else, but you want this person to change, to be like you. And then love can be very destructive."

Coelho eventually got out of institutional care and enrolled in law school, but dropped out to indulge in the "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll" of hippie life in the 1970s. He wrote song lyrics for Brazilian musicians protesting the country's military rule. He was jailed three times for his political activism and subjected to torture in prison.

After drifting among several professions, Coelho changed his life's course while on a visit to Spain in 1986 at the age of 36. Coelho walked more than 500 miles along the Road to Santiago de Compostela, a site of Catholic pilgrimage. The walk and the spiritual awakening he experienced en route inspired him to write The Pilgrimage, an autobiographical account of the trek, in his native Portuguese. He quit his other jobs and devoted himself full-time to the craft of writing.

In 1987, Coelho wrote a new book, The Alchemist, over the course of one two-week spurt of creativity. The allegorical novel was about an Andalusian shepherd boy who follows a mystical trek in which he learns to speak the "Language of the World" and thus receives his heart's desire. The book attracted little attention at first, until a French-language translation suddenly leapt onto bestseller lists in France in the early 1990s. New translations followed, and soon The Alchemist became a worldwide phenomenon. The book has sold, by Coelho's count, roughly 35 million copies, and is now the most translated book in the world by any living author. Since the publication of The Alchemist, Coelho has produced a new book at a rate of about one every two years including By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, The Fifth Mountain, Veronika Decides to Die, The Devil and Miss Prym, Eleven Minutes, Like the Flowing River, The Valkyries and The Witch of Portobello.

Coelho has been married to his wife, the artist Christina Oiticica, since 1980. Together the couple spends half the year in Rio de Janeiro and the other half in a country house in the Pyrenees Mountains of France. In 1996, Coelho founded the Paulo Coelho Institute, which provides support to children and the elderly. He continues to write, following his own version of The Alchemist's "Language of the World."

I think it is very important to highlight the work of this important writer and his literary works. His books are fascinating and interesting, besides his literary works are recommended in several universities. His books are inspiring and life changing. The spirituality of his books leads to reflection and self-help, but Coelho says otherwise and he says he is a writer of self-problems.

The person I admire is Father Rafael Garcia Herreros. He was the creator of “Minuto de Dios” and since then he developed a series of projects that continue whit his legacy up to now.
He was born in 1906 in Cucuta. His childhood was happy and he had different excursions with his brothers. Family meetings were very important moments in his home. He dedicated himself to teaching other priest during his first 10 years of priesthood. In 1946, he started to broadcast his first massages on the radio in Cartagena. Then, he continued in Cali, Medellin, and Bogotá. In 1955, the program “Minuto de Dios” appeared in television. It was the beginning of many actions by Minuto de Dios like social work, education, and dwelling and preach. The Father Rafael stood out by his words and actions for a just, equitable, and peaceful country.
The main reason I admire him is because he started to do everything alone and starting from scrap. I also admire him for being a perseverant, creative, and innovative person. He could convince many people to support his ideas and projects like schools, homes, neighborhoods, education for women who are head of families without ever stopping his vocation as a priest.
Also because he was always defended people, the less fortunate and, the most vulnerable people such as poor and marginalized people without obtaining anything in exchange. In spite that through his hands millions of pesos passed. He never took anything for him. And he always lived with humble. He spends the money in people that he defended. For him helps other people was his service.
I consider this the real sense of power mission that God told. The Father Rafael never judge or reject the people who didn´t have anything or had been in bad road. He always looked for to bring a friend hand.
Today every work you can see like the “Banquete Del Million”, schools, neighborhood and corporation “Minuto de Dios”, the television program “Luma”, the INDEC, an editorial, and other biggest projects.

5 May,

Dear Mr. Montoya,

Following our telephone conversation last thursday, I am writing to complain about the “Smart PC 2020” which I purchased from you in www. amazon.com five days ago.

I am dissatisfied with the product that I have received for some reasons. Firstly, the box was opened. I was told that I would receive it sealed and within twenty-four hours whereas in fact it took almost three days to arrive.

Your advertisement promised that it included 10 original CR-ROM with all the programs. However, I have inspected the package and they are not original. Furthermore, they don’t include videogames. I totally fail to comprehend how you can describe your offer as you do.

Finally, I have discovered that this device doesn’t have the best computer processing unit and it can be purchased in Monterrey for half the price that you charge.

I am of the opinion that your smart PC has been a total waste of my money, and demand a complete refund of everything that I have paid.

Yours sincerely,

Jose Narvaez.

COMPLAINING LETTER - JUAN CAMILO MOSQUERA RENTERÍA

Medellín July 15th 2014

Dear Mr Jason Chen (C.E.O ACER)

Whit this present writing, I am going to complain about one specific product, which it had made me disappointed. It goes without saying, that I’m not the only one who have this kind of problem, and now it have been proved by the news as you could saw.

Firstly, the last 26 October 2013 I placed an order with your firm for a NCB Notebook with an ultra super long – life battery, for $500 the company gave a 1 year warranty and 6 months money back guaranty. You’ve told me at the moment of the purchase, that in case of any trouble with the piece all my money will be given back to me with immediate effect, or if I wish I can choose another model. As a result this notebook doesn’t last more than a half hour. 20 minutes for been more exactly.

However, your advertisement promised that only with 15 minutes charged the notebook could be last more than 24 hours, something that have never happened;  besides, the wireless it’s too hard to setup and it doesn’t work very well.

In only three days I had to go five times to your technical Center in Sabaneta and I’ve never received any kind of answered from you, besides, I’ve wasted too much money because that center it’s so far from my office.

I am of the opinion that your notebook has been a total wasted of time and I would like you can send me a new notebook, including all the specifications were shown in the offer. If I don’t get a quick response to my request, I hope a full refund of the payment I already made.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Yours sincerely,

The Person Who I Admire Juan Camilo Mosquera

THE PERSON WHO I ADMIRE MOST IN THE HOLD WORLD

The person who I admire most in the hold world, has never received any prize, has never been clapped by a specific group of people and she has never known what a recognition is.  But it doesn’t matter to her, because she doesn’t need it.

She doesn’t earn too much money, in fact, a big part of this, is given to her relatives to have a better life, she doesn’t have a profitable company, even employees on charged, and in the hypothetical case if she could have them, maybe, she would invite them all for lunch.

The person who I admire most in the world, doesn’t have a Master degree, although, she had the opportunity to go a University and became a professional despite of all sacrifice that she had done. She said that she would become a nurse, and that ever was her dream, but few opportunities forced to choose the only one option; become a teacher.

The person who I admire most in the world, born 24 August 1956 in a small village called Condoto Chocó, where the poverty was all over the town and the chance to become someone else in the world was almost impossible.  She had worked in houses as a housekeeper, and took care of her siblings since she was eight years old. At the age of twelve her mother passed away and most of the responsibilities had been covered by her, because her father, a humble fisherman, didn’t earn enough for all the family

Despite, her father didn’t want that she could continue with her studies, some years later; she decided to go out of this village with two of her older brothers in journey to Medellin. And it was here, were they could study and work in some towns of Antioquia as teachers.
The person, who I admired most in the world, worked in Remedios, a northeast town of Antioquia, there she worked for almost 39 years. By the time, she said that staying there, the conflict between the guerillas and the National Army had never caused the worst moments of her life.

Been a single mother, working hard as a teacher and selling stuff like panelitas and ice creams, she had the opportunity to buy her own house, and raising her child in a better conditions.

The person, who I admire most in the world, has read any kind of books, specifically all related to Social Science, Economic, Politic, Ethic, Sexual Education and in top of all, Colombian Literature. All this knowledge that she had gotten from all of it, was gratefully given to all of them who were her students and also, it’s given for all of them who are around her.

Nowadays, the person who I admire most in the world, is enjoying her retirement, although, she continue working as goods sales woman and learning about new technologies every single day. She has traveled around the world, knowing new places; places that long time ago when she was young she had dreamt.

The person, who I admire most in the world as most of you have been already guessing, is my MOTHER, she is more than a single mother, she is my truthful friend  and in top of all my confident and I’m sure that everyone who knows her love her too.

Proyect: A person who I have admired by: Giovanni Lopez Ceballos

First of all, I want to begin with this phrase:

“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful, that's what matters to me.”

            Steve Jobs

In this world there are a lot of people that I have admired. I believe everyone has something to share or something important to teach. I am always looking for a way to learn from others and the experiences though which they have passed. I admire those who achieve their goals and try to think sort of different than others and make of this planet a better place to live.

“Technology is nothing” the point is, you must have a faith in people, that they are good and smart indeed; what is more, if you give them tools, they will do amazing things. I love people that always strive to give the best they have. Now, I have to start to talk about a person who was admired and hated by the way in which he thought.

Steve Paul Jobs better known as Steve Jobs was co-founder and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. and maximum individual shareholder of the Walt Disney Company. He was able to create products clearly differentiated from his competitors’. Father of the first personal computer (Apple I).
Last but not least, he was like a great teacher and one of the best lesson is that some people think design means how gadgets look. Notwithstanding, if everybody digs deeper, the real meaning of design is how it works. Each one has wanted to learn from him, of course, I am one of them.

Dear Sirs

When I signed up to study English a year ago. I matriculated in the fifty past one p.m. schedule. After eight courses in the same schedule an auxiliary said to me that the following course had been canceled, and the reason why the course had been canceled was the number of students.  It was below the minimum allowed. At that moment we were around seven learns, and the minimum allowed was eight students. Each of us had to change our schedule. I had to take the four p.m. schedule to be able to continue with my studies.

The problem is now you are telling me that I must change my schedule again because the next course was canceled. Now I am in the course thirteen and we are around eight students. Nevertheless, you say that the reason why the following course was canceled is the number of learns, and it is below the minimum allowed. Now the minimum allowed is ten students.

The point is, for the following course may arrive two new classmates; whereby, we would reach the number of minimum allowed. Therefore, I am applying to reopen the course fourteen at the four p.m. schedule to continue with my studies normally.

Yours faithfully

                           PROJECT

 GRANDPA’S BIOGRAPY “Rafael Angel Ospina”

Grandpa was born in September 23 of 1921 in PUEBLORICO Antioquia. He was raised in a humble family of coffee farmers and he was the older brother of 15 siblings. During his childhood he passed through dangerous and scary events, as the civil war between LIBERALES and CONSERVADORES , but before that, he had passed through the most painful and depressing moment in his life; The dead of his parents. Later he became as father and mother of his young siblings then with the past of the time he met grandma and both got married.

The main things that I admire from my grandfather are: his unbelievable good humor that makes you get amused during his awesome stories, but the most important value which I admire is his inexhaustible patience to advice to people and relatives who needs a good advice to figure out a problem in their lives. Grandpa has a lot of experience to solve problems without violence because he’s passed for many things in his life and this made him wiser than anyone that I know in Medellin.

Grandpa’s achievements have been many but the most important have been the following: His first achievement was during his youth because he should raise and get food for his young siblings and he made it. The second was when he should move to Medellin with grandma and his children and at that moment they were two parents in charge of eleven children, and no one knew the city of Medellin, It was in the 50s. Then grandpa dealt with the circumstances and he found the answer to get over the needs of his family in a strange environment. He started to be smart in the business of selling pigs then with the pass of time he became as godfather of pigs business in the town of Itagui

After all bad things and tough moments we are here “My family and I” but all this is because my grandfather has been a leader, a father, a support that we can share our worries and the most important thing is: he’s been a man with extraordinary values that makes me proud of the early beginnings of my family.

Dear Mr. Smith,
Continuing with the grievance procedures, I am writing this formal letter because yesterday we had a telephone conversation and you did not clear up my worries and dissatisfactions about your product "EasyLigua" which I have bought from your firm around two months ago.

First of all, let me express my complete disappointment of the main topic from your advertisement "learn a new language in 28 days". This sentence is a complete lie because I have been studying your package for 60 days and I haven't seen any improvement of my skills.

Furthermore, you offered high quality CD-ROMs and cassettes which in fact sound like two grasshoppers singing at night. Another huge thing that I listened in your extraordinary cassettes was the voices which weren't from native people. Those were from Indian and Latin people with bad pronunciation. When you listen to them, you get completely lost.

Finally, I found out that I hadn't received the full package of Russian and Chinese language for which I had paid 500 on the internet. On the contrary,  you have sent me a Russian and Turkish package that I don't want. Mr. Smith you can't image how I am feeling since I realized that your product is an Absolut sham.

I am of the opinion that your language packages have been a total fraud and also an absolutely waste of my time. I require the complete reimbursement of my money, otherwise I would be forced to take legal consulting.

Yours sincerely,

The Person Who I Admire - by Milton Quintero

THE PERSON WHO I ADMIRE

I admire my father a lot. He has been a fighter since he was a child. He did not like to study, so he started to work very Young. My dad was born in a town called Cañasgordas, there he studied in the mornings, and in the afternoons he helped his father and his older siblings with the farm work.

My grandpa was extremely strict with his children. Once when my father came home from school, he lost a hat which my grandpa had given him and my dad felt so scared that he decided not to go home, because he thought that his father would punish him. My dad was so scared that he stayed one week without going home.

After a week of sleeping in the park and asking for food in the streets, he decided to come to Medellín, so he rode in a load car and in that moment he felt a hand touching his shoulder, so, he looked back to see who was touching him and that person was my grandfather who had looked for him and finally found him. After an emotional meeting, they talked a lot of time and at the end, my father came back home.

After some years, my dad got tired of working in the farm and he decided to come to Medellín definitely. Already in Medellín, he obtained many Jobs, he lived in different neighborhoods and he had many girlfriends until he met my mother and after some years of dating, they married and they had four children of whom I am the youngest.

Throughout his life, my dad has accomplished many things, he could survive alone in a strange city, he achieved to get his own house and he got another one for his parents thanks to his dedication and effort in the job, he has could maintain his marriage for 48 years, he has earned the respect and the love of his wife, his children and his grandchildren, he has attained that his children being good people, he achieved his retirement some years ago.

For this and many other things, my father is the person who I admire.
