Mysterious Underwater Pyramid
In 1986, a diver near the island of Yonaguni, off the southern tip of Japan came across some strange structures about 25 metres below sea level. They appear to be stepped structures with terraces and ramps.
One of the largest pyramid structures is 600 feet wide and 90 feet high, with five separate levels of stone blocks with what appears to be road surrounding the structure.
Tool marks and carvings have been discovered upon the stones which indicate that they were constructed rather than being natural stone structures.
Some people believe that the site is over five thousand years old but It was sunk during an earthquake two thousand years ago.
Others have estimated that the structure is far older. They have determined that the submergence occurred at the end of the last ice age, which was around ten thousand years ago.
It is interesting to note that a number of tools have been discovered both on land and in the sea around the structures.

Recommendation Letter
Mr. Carlos Martinez
Manager, Information Technology Department
ORBE Industries Inc.
Medellin
Dear Mr. Martinez:
This is in response to your recent request for a letter of recommendation for Andrea Rendon who worked for us up until last month.
Andrea Rendon worked under my direct supervision at Empresas Publicas de Medellin for a period of seven years ending in September 2011. During that period, I had the great pleasure of seeing her progress from a desktop support at the beginning, into a professional engineer with many projects completed successfully.
Andrea is a hard-working self-starter who invariably understands exactly what a project is all about from the outset, and how to get it done quickly and effectively. During the years in the company, I cannot remember an instance in which she missed a major deadline. She often brought projects in below budget, and a few were even completed ahead of schedule.
Ms. Rendon is a resourceful, creative, and solution-oriented person who was frequently able to come up with new and innovative approaches to her assigned projects. She functioned well as a team leader when required, and she also worked effectively as a team member under the direction of other team leaders.
In closing, as detailed above, based on my experience working with her, I can unreservedly recommend Andrea Rendon to you for any related Information Technology position. If you would like further elaboration, feel free to call me at 3706556.
Sincerely,
Oscar Ruiz Ramirez

Science 1 - Disease 0
In 1928, Alexander Fleming observed that colonies of a bacterium called Staphylococcus aureus could be destroyed by the mold Penicillim notatum, proving that there was an antibacterial agent there in principle. This achievement later lead to medicines that could eradicate certain types of disease caused by bacteria inside the human and animal body. At that time, the importance of Fleming’s discovery was not known. The use of the penicillin did not begin until the 1940s, when the active ingredient was isolated and developed a powdery form of the medicine.
The penicillin is one of the earliest discovered and widely used antibiotic agents, derived from the Penicillium mold. Antibiotics are naturals substances that are released by bacteria and fungi into the environment, as a means of inhibiting other organisms.

Stonehenge
One of the earliest known architectural advances is Stonehenge, although nobody knows by whom it was done. Stonehenge is basically a circular setting of large standing stones; it is located at the centre of a complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England. It was built between 2800 and 1500 BC to be a temple to the sun or simply an astronomical calendar; in 1986 it was added to the Unesco´s list of world heritage sites.
Man has always changed the point of view through the history, but definitely one of the achievements that have demonstrated the desire of man to advance and always go beyond the limits is Stonehenge, it is not only an advance, it is simply a wonder!
